Gwyneth Paltrow shares slimming secrets

Jay-Z's BFF actress Gwyneth Paltrow is on the cover of Self Magazine and she reveals interesting deets on her awesome figure. The 38 year old mother of two  says this about her go to snacks "raw almonds with raisins, or coconut water, or I’ll make a juice with kale, lemon juice, water, Vitamix and a little agave. I try to avoid barbeque potato chips. They’re my weakness.'

Gwyneth said she does indulge every once in a while, but then reins herself back in.
'I always eat right, but last night, I had fried clams, pasta with duck sausage and two glasses of red wine. When I want to lose, I eat less pasta, bread and potatoes. Before last year's Iron Man 2 premiere, I did green juices and salads for three days', she shared. Green juice and salad for 3 days??? I don't know if I could do that! I would have to eat a whole horse after the 3 days

Gwyneth also reveals her gruelling workouts with fitness guru to the stars Tracy Anderson: 'I do 45 minutes of cardio five days a week, because I like to eat. I also try for 45 minutes of muscular structure work, which is toning, realigning and lengthening',

Kimora Lee talks losing 25lbs of baby weight

Kimora Lee Simmons revealed how she shed baby weight in a new interview online. Kimora who is 35  is married to actor Djimon Honsou says "'I shed the fat by not eating. But I don't like to tell the kids that so they think they shouldn't eat.'

I need her to clarify that statement. Not eating is not the right way to shed the weight permanently. The former CEO of Babyphat continues on to say, 'It’s taken me almost a year to lose close to 25 lbs and I did it through healthy diet and exercise"

Ok I can get behind that statement. Healthy eating and exercise is the only way to really keep the weight off and maintain it. Remember it's taken Kimora almost 2 years to shed that weight after her third child. I love her new look, she looks FAB. She concluded: 'I believe that people are beautiful at any size, color or weight.

5 things you can learn from Jay-Z's career

I came across this article on CNN Living about the 5 things you can learn from Jay-Z's career & I was immediately intrigued. Now if you keep with the news like I do, then you know Hova has been in the news for being fined $50,000 for violating NBA rules after a kick it session with a Kentucky college basketball team. Now this is big no no for the rapper due to the fact he is a minority owner for the New Jersey Nets basketball team.

Despite the negative press I believe there are some things that we can all learn from Jay-Z who has is valued at $450 million dollars and No.2 on Forbes Wealthiest Artists.

1. Find something your passionate about and make it part of your life
What Jay Z did: Jay-Z is a sports enthusiast. He's a proud Yankees fan and he's been a courtside fixture at NBA games for years for The Cavaliers, Knicks and Lakers.
Not content with just being a fan, Jay-Z assembled a team (that included Lebron James) in 2003 to play in Entertainers Basketball Classic (EBC) and then became a co-owner of the New Jersey Nets.
2. Market yourself
What Jay-Z did: One of the other reasons Jay-Z decided to assemble that basketball team in the EBC? He knew it was great marketing. He branded a bus with the image of a sneaker he designed for Reebok, had the team tour in it, all while his music blared.
And then they'd celebrate at the club he owned in New York. It was his project from top to bottom and he wasn't afraid to promote it.

How Regina King lives her best life

Ive always been a fan of Regina King. Her body of work is incredible starting with 227, Boyz in the Hood, Poetic Justice and up until now as the lead actress on the tv show Southland. She is one of the few black women in Hollywood that are doing IT!

By the way, did you guys know that Regina is dating fellow actor Malcolm Jamal Warner? I love the idea of the two of them together, they both seem to have their heads on straight.

Regina spoke to O Magazine about living her best life, here are a few highlights from the magazine.

Best Style Staple
I have a beautiful, soft, yummy Coach bag to carry scripts and my iPad to work; it's a light coffee color, so I can wear it year-round in Los Angeles. And I like that it's not covered with branding—no
Gs or LVs.

Best Forgotten Tradition
My family blesses our food before we eat. Whatever god you pray to, or even if you don't believe in a god, it's nice to show that you're grateful to the universe for sustaining you.

Best Mistake
Marrying my ex-husband, because otherwise I wouldn't have my son.
