Whatever happened to Oprah's relationship with her long lost half sister? I've got the answer...

Remember how in November 2010 talk show host Oprah Winfrey said she was "shocked to the core" when she found out that her Momma Vernita Lee had another daughter, Patricia, who she had given up for adoption shortly after her birth in 1963?

Well if you are nosy like me, you probably have wondered how the sisters are getting along after being separated for such a long time! Seems things are on the up and up and  over the weekend O tweeted a picture of her and Pat at a birthday celebration just two years after they met for the very first time. She wrote:

'Hey TweetHearts... celebrating my sister's birthday... missing the tweet party,'

Love this! I am sure Oprah spares no expense on her close friends and family! I wonder what Sis Pat got for her birthday? Hopefully she will tweet that!

Stansly Maponga makes history as first EVER Zimbabwean to get drafted into the NFL!

The Atlanta Falcons selected Texas Christian's Stansly Maponga in 2013 NFL Draft and doing so they made history. The 22 year old is the first EVER Zimbabwean to be drafted into the NFL! So freakin awesome!

Stansly was born in Zimbabwe and moved the the U.S. at age 9. He chose to forgo his final year of eligibility to enter this year's draft and clearly his big gamble paid off! The 6'2, 256 pounds star must be rolling in dough now, spend it wisely young man :)

Congrats to him and his family!!!

15 month old cutie Blue Ivy Carter is growing into such an adorable toddler. She was pictured early today in Paris with her tres chic parents Beyonce and Jay-S at Szptime, a restaurant in Paris. She is growing up so quickly! Look at that full head of hair! Blue's Mom is in the middle of her Mrs. Carter show and it seems proud Papa Jay-Z is also tagging along. Loves it, peeps the pics below:

A few weeks ago, I got the chance to attend the Shared Interest Gala in NYC which is a leading New York based nonprofit social investment fund.  During the event they paid special tribute to leading individuals such as (Harry Belafonte, Freshlyground, Father Michael Lapsey and many more)..folks that are making a major difference in the lives of the most economically marginalized South Africans. I had spectacular time on the red carpet talking to the specials guests that were being honored that night and I wanted to share the short clip with you. Actress Octavia Spencer "I lost 20 lbs"..see how she did it!

Oscar winner Octavia Spencer has lost 20 pounds over the past five months and shows it off in a new promo for Sensa, the powder-like dieting product that is sprinkled on food like salt or pepper to help suppress appetite.

Hmmm how do you all feel about appetite suppressants? I will admit I'm a bit wee bit leery of them.

“My weight has always been a struggle for me,” Octavia says on the website for Sensa, for which she is a spokesperson.

“If you tell me I can’t eat something, I’ll obsess over it and end up overeating!” she continues. “So whenever I would try to lose weight on one of those restrictive diets, I would just end up gaining the weight right back.”

The Help actress says eating less and living healthier has been a key factor in her weight loss. However she doesn’t plan to go too extreme in her dieting plans.

Yep she look perfect at her current weight! She's always said that she wanted to drop the extra load so good for her for accomplishing her goal!

That Kelly Rowland is such a natural beauty! How does she manage she to look this pretty without a stitch of make-up on? The gorgeous singer is being recognized for her beauty by PEOPLE magazine and has been named as one of its Most Beautiful.

She shares the honor with other leading ladies including Pink, Kerry Washington, Halle Berry, Gabrielle Union and Gwyneth Paltrow.

But she didn’t always feel beautiful. “I went through a period where I didn’t embrace just being a chocolate, lovely brown-skinned girl,” she told CNikky.com.

Wow really? Ive always loved being brown skinned, I can't imagine what that was like!

In the photo, the 32-year-old poses without makeup. “I feel very comfortable in my skin and very comfortable to share it with you guys,” said Kelly of her au naturale look.

Lala looks lovely! Wow! Kiyan's Mom has been shedding weight lately and I don't blame her for wanting to show it off. The former MTV host turned reality star and now actress looks phenomenal. La found her motivation to lose the weight after rapper the Game convinced her to take part in a 60 day fitness challenge. On Sunday she tweeted:

"Today I officially completed the 60 days of fitness challenge. It's been a long road but I did it & it's just the beginning. Thank u to @thegame for introducing me to this way of life"

40 year old actress and sometimes singer Gwyneth Paltrow is this year's pick. Not only does she have an Oscar, a rocker husband, two children, and now the title of World’s Most Beautiful Woman...the workout fanatic is also Beyonce's BFF? Some people have all the luck..lol

In all seriousness, I'm not feeling this choice for World's Most Beautiful. Give me a Nia Long, Lucy Liu, Sofia Vergara or Kerry Washington any day of the week. Thoughts on their selection. Do you agree?

Alicia Keys releases steamy new video feat Maxwell. Are we feeling it?

I will readily admit to not being a fan of all of the songs on Alicia Keys's latest album. When I finally hunkered down and listened to the full length disc, I decided that I only enjoyed tracks 5-12 on the disc, errythang else? Hmm let's just say it left a lot to be desired!

But lucky for me, her latest single is one of my fave songs on the album. It's a hot track called "The Fire We Make" feat Maxwell. Check out the steamy video and let me know what you think:

Fantasia blew my away with her American Idol performance tonight The 28 year old Mommy of two stepped out in an elegant white gown to sing her hit song “Lose to Win,” the first single off her upcoming fourth album Side Effects of You, due April 23. 

She received a standing ovation and praise from the judges.

“Fantasia just had the best performance of this season. wow. Chills,” tweeted Nicki Minaj, while Mariah Carey added, “Go Fantasia, L O V E you, beautiful voice..beautiful person.”

Confirmed: Nene Leakes wedding themed spin-off is coming to BRAVO!

Seems like BRAVO TV is giving out spin-off's left right and some of them ( Kandi, Kim & Phaedra) leave a lot to be desired. But this one- I'm actually excited about it. Its been confirmed that the very rich Nene Leakes will have a wedding special documenting her upcoming nuptials. She just tweeted:

"YES the rumors r true! I will marry my love AGAIN! I Dream Of Nene-The Wedding special coming soon!"

"I Dream of Nene" will feature the former spouses planning their wedding of a lifetime as "The New Normal" actress enlists the help of celebrity wedding planner Tiffany Cook to plan the ceremony. Nene's bridal party, including Cynthia Bailey and Marlo Hampton, also will be prominently featured during the series.

Premiering in the fall, the series will feature plenty of Housewives and celebrities as the invited guests make the trek to the "Hollywood of the South" for the Leakes' second chance at happiness.
