Soul Singer Amy Winehouse has passed away. She died at the age of 27, what a tragedy. My heart aches for her family, friends and fans. Her father Mitch says  he is "devastated and speechless." A police source tells PEOPLE there was no paraphernalia or sign of drugs in Winehouse's Camden home where her body was discovered.



Actress and singer Lauryn Hill gave birth to her sixth child a baby boy this Saturday. Mother and child are said to be to resting and doing well. The baby daddy Rohan Marley had previously denied that the baby was his seems to have changed his tune saying "Ms. Hill is the mother of my children, whom I have a tremendous amount of love and respect for"










The accuser in the Dominic Strauss Kahn rape case is speaking out about her ordeal with the former IMF chief. It seems that she is trying to pressure the prosecution to press charges against Kahn. A  32-year-old immigrant from Guinea named Nafissatou Diallo she says "“I want him to go to jail, I want him to know there are some places you cannot use your power, you cannot use your money.”

Former White House social secretary and Obama friend Desiree Rodgers is in the August issue of Vogue Magazine. She is accompanied by her daughter 21 year old Victoria. Rodgers is now the CEO of Johnson Publishing Co. Good to see her doing so well after that fiasco surrounding White House gate crashers.












Jennifer Lopez who recently split from her hubby Marc Anthony turned 42 this past Saturday.Jenny from the Block and her entourage of 16 – which included her mother, sister, manager and stylist – enjoyed a lavish dinner at Scott Conant's restaurant, Scarpetta, inside the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami. Happy Birthday J.Lo!!

Hot women over the age of 40 that are killin it!

I was watching one of my guilty pleasure reality shows- the Braxton Family Values on WeTv featuring singer Toni Braxton and her family. This episode dealt with Toni being propositioned by Playboy (yes the nekkid magazine) to pose nude. Her family seemed torn about the topic but towards the end of the episode it seemed that Toni was leaning towards doing the shoot.  I say go for it Miss Toni, you look great and you need the money girlfriend, so I vote yes!

This got me to thinking about how amazing it is that Toni is 43 and looking all kinds of smokin hot. Whether or not you think Toni you should pose for Playboy, I think you will appreciate my top 10 list of women in Hollywood that are over 40 and killing it **cue Fabolous*

Jennifer Lopez shows off toned tummy

The most beautiful woman in the world- well according to People Magazine showed off her toned tummy at a Best Buy is Los Angeles. Homegirl is in her 40's and she absolutely look gorgeous!

The mother of two was feeling very generous as she chatted with her adoring fans, even taking time to record voicemail messages for a lucky few, saying: "This is Jennifer Lopez, please leave a message after the beep."

What a big year for JLo! From American Idol to her to her comeback to music the future is looking bright for Jenny from the Bronx. Congrats to her for topping the beautiful list. Although I have to say that I am not  a fan of the picture of Jlo, she is just photoshopped too much. Me no likey. Check out the official cover below:

Jennifer Lopez shows off her babies

Singer Jennifer Lopez brought little Max and Emme to the set of American Idol on Wednesday, and RadarOnline.com has the just-released pic of the adorable 3-year-old twins.

The twins look just like their Daddy Marc Anthony  right?

J.Lo has No. 1 single & Marc Anthony back on the small screen?

Things are looking up in the Anthony/Lopez household! Jenny from the block is sitting pretty at the No. 1 spot with her comeback single On The Floor at number one in the iTunes charts and her new role as judge on American Idol a hit with audiences all over. Glad to see JLo back on the music side of things, her music has always been a guilty pleasure of mine.

Her hubby Marc Anthony is joining wife as a TV regular, but he's taking the dramatic route. The Grammy-winning salsa star will become a cast member on TNT's "Hawthorne," playing police Detective Nick Renata.
