Hiiiiiii!
Over the past weekend, I traveled from New York City to New Orleans to attend one of the biggest festivals in the country - ESSENCE Festival! Y'all already know ESSENCE was gon' bring the funk! It was so lit being there, black women came out in record breaking droves to attend the three day fest!
For the first day - I wore a three piece ensemble from the brand Milly. I loved this outfit so much. I literally got complimented everywhere I went. The love was def in the air. Styled by @stylemonster, this green number was so seamless to transition from day to night.
It was perfect for my busy schedule!
I was so happy to be at ESSENCE to do a bit of work (I hosted a chat on the Center Stage with late night host Robin Thede) but truthfully it wasn't all work and no play. I also trekked to NOLA specifically to see pop icon Janet Jackson. I love her!! She is the ultimate Queen, still performing and killing it at age 52. #GoalsAF
