My Experience at the Daily Show with Trevor Noah taping

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of attending a taping of the Daily Show with Trevor Noah.

The South African comedian is doing his thing y'all. He had an ease about him during the duration of the taping - he was funny, warm, engaging - a consummate professional. He came out a few minutes before the show started and took questions from 3 or 4 people in the audience. I've heard stories of hosts just talking to the audience only when the cameras are rolling but this was not the case at the Daily Show. He was so down to earth and humble.

I can just imagine how exciting it must be for the 32-year-old to land his dream job. That excitement just doesn't fade and you could feel that joy emanating from our boy.

I love how he juggles many projects with equal passion spread across each initiative. His support system must be on fleek. When Trevor pressed him about how he manages his time, his answer was poignant. "You make time for things that motivate you" Lebron replied. I was so inspired by that!

2) Good Things Come to Those Who Hustle

Most people don't know that Trevor has been in the game for a minute. Folk, this is not an overnight success story by any means. It was surreal to see his name everywhere - on the streets, in the studio, on the buses passing by - our boy has made it.

It's OK to dream but what's even more important is put in the work needed to get to the next level. "Dreams don't work unless you do'
