If there's anyone who won 2014 with a landslide victory - it's for sure Trevor Noah!
After nabbing the much coveted position of the new Daily Show host, it seems Trevor is pretty much a Hollywood A-lister now.
Just this afternoon the South African comic appeared on the Ellen Show and his interview was cute, funny and interesting. Check out the highlights from his interview:
On growing up in South Africa:
"I think I grew up normally and then I go home to visit my grandmother and then I remember we had an outdoor toilet. And then I'm, like, "Oh, yeah. Seemed like a lot more fun when I was a kid"
On being a mixed race child during the apartheid era:
"My mom couldn't hold my hand in public. so I just thought this is what, like, moms do. I didn't know--I had no other references to other moms, so I wasn't like, "Why is she not holding my hand?" I was just like, "She's independent, she's cool. Just--that's what she does, you know?"
