Ask and you shall receive: Oprah gives dress away to a twitter follower

I hope Oprah knows that this has opened up the floodgates. I'm hitting her up everyday via twitter asking for dresses! It happened to one lucky fan so perhaps it can happen for me? #WontHeDoIt

Ok here's what happened via People Style Watch:

Atlanta resident Brandi (aka Twitter user @snobaby28), asked Oprah Winfrey if she could have the dress the megastar wore on the March cover of Essence and Oprah said yes!

Brandi Tweeted at Winfrey about her love for the dress, joking “I know u won’t wear again.” Said Oprah, “You’re right, I won’t,” and directed Brandi to reach out to her assistant to get the exchange underway.

Must be nice! Oprah must be feeling generous these days cause E! News reported that she purchased a home in Wisconsin for her half-sister, Patricia Lofton in addition to giving her a monthly allowance and sending her to college.

The 60 year old media maven reportedly bought a $490,000 four-bedroom, three-bathroom home for Lofton and has set up a monthly allowance so she can focus on her goals.
