Top Ten African Women in Showbiz. Did I miss anyone?

African women are doing BIG things in the world of entertainment. Now that we are  half way into 2013, I thought it would be fitting to do a FUN countdown of the top ten ladies in showbiz that are killing the singing, acting, TV and radio game in Africa and also around the world. In no particular order....

Aww snap! Forget America's Next Top Model this year it's all about Africa's Next Top Model brought to us by Supermodel Oluchi! The 30 year old Mom of one is most known for winning the Face of Africa competition a few years ago so she knows a thing or two about beauty. I can't wait for the show to air later this year!

Stylish singer Tiwa Savage, is a Nigerian songstress currently signed to Sony/ATV Music Publishing and Mavin Records. She co-wrote the track "Collard greens and Cornbread" on Fantasia Barrino’s Grammy-nominated album Back to Me and is signed to SONY USA Record Label. She also  just got engaged a few months ago and I can't wait to see the FAB wedding pics!

Khanyi Dhlomo is a huge force to reckon with. The millionaire media mogul is now leading the way in the publishing field with her company Ndalo Media Group. and numerous successful business ventures. The incredibly private businesswoman recently delved into the world of luxe clothing and is also a shareholder in a new South African talk radio station. Talk about POWER!

Nigerian media personality Tolulope Toolz Oniru is a superstar radio/TV host known for candid and upbeat presentation. She is currently the host of the X-Factor Nigeria edition and is also known for her killer curves

.
25 year old supermodel Flaviana Matata is a Tanzanian beauty queen and fashion model. I first found out about her when she competed in the Miss Universe contest in 2007 and I was BLOWN away when I first saw her. So striking! She has graced a number of catwalks, print ads and is also a savvy humanitarian.

Natasha Ndlovu is a gorgeous Zimbabwean born - London based model who often shares her photography and style finds on her blog and various social media sites. I follow her on Instagram (she has over 6,000 followers) and I find myself GAGGING in the best way possible at all her beautiful and rich pictures. Follow her now
South African singer chanteuse is one of my favorite singers! Known for her powerhouse pipes the award winning songstress has broken many records in her homeland is set to make a huge splash in the US. She recently performed at an official inaugural event this past winter for President Barack Obama and all signs are pointing to world wide domination.

Time Magazine named Omotola Jalade Ekinede as one of their most 100  influential people in the world recently and it came no surprise to the legions of fans that have been following her years. Known as the Queen of Nollywood, the star is an impressive humanitarian, reality star, mother, wife and also one of Africa's brightest stars.

South African beauty Bonang Matheba made headlines last week as being the FIRST ever face Revlon South Africa. Joining the likes of Halle Berry and Olivia Wilde your girl "B" is South Africa's reigning TV personality. Currently on the cover of Cosmo SA she has appeared in numerous TV shows, print ads magazines and even has an online reality show.

37 year old Ugandan model Kiara Kaburu was seriously injured after being hit by a truck while cycling in New York City back in 2000 but now she is back on the scene with a vengeance. Most recognizable for her Vogue covers (Spain and the US) the former Victoria's Secret model is most famously known as being the face of Covergirl cosmetics. Go Girl!
