How much do looks matter when dating?

90210 actress Jennie Garth has a new perspective on her love life. After her scandalous split from ex-husband Peter Facinelli she tell Health Magazine:

"I'm learning to date again, and looks aren't important to me anymore. ... I like positive energy."

Friends, how important are looks to you when dating? My belief is you have to be attracted to someone initially when you are dating but looks aren't everything. The focus should be on finding a well rounded partner and not just on the exterior. What do you think?
