Images and my MSBNC video from the NYC Million Hoodie March
Last night I attended the Million Hoodie March in NYC city in honor Trayvon Martin. I wore my red hoodie in support of the 17 year old young man who was gunned home in cold blood in what seems to be an apparent hate crime. Words fail me in trying to describe how this case impacts me. To think that in this day and age something as outrageous as this could happen in America is horrifying. As the facts began to emerge on this case I really hope and pray that justice will be served. Trayvon's parents walked past me yesterday and the look on his mother's face will stay with me forever. The pain that was written all over her face was just heartbreaking. Regardless of what your race is, everyone should appalled at this case. This is the Emmett Till of our generation.

This is moving... You've made a difference..I'm not in NY....wish I was so I could have attended..(but I like to think you went on my behalf and every other person who would've wanted to go but could not) stay blessed
ReplyDeleteI would take to the streets again in a heartbeat if it mean Zimmerman would end up behind bars. I am still so outraged by this whole case. And I am beyond proud of you for making it on the Ed Show. I love MSNBC :-)
