Meet the contestants, hosts & judge of the E! Africa Presenter Search

Happy New Year Folks! 2017 is set to be a fun year in entertainment. Big things are poppin already. 

On my radar for must see TV? E! South Africa's new reality competition series The Search: E! Host South Africa.

I told you last year about the coveted contest where one lucky winner will get the opportunity of a lifetime to win the grand prize of becoming the first E! South Africa host. Well now, I have more deets for you my friends. Keep reading to find out more about the show's judges, special guests and hosts.

Per the press release:

Seasoned presenter Andile Ncube, the host of The Search: E! Host South Africa, will be there to show the contestants how it’s done, while Terry Pheto – who is no stranger to the spotlight and being behind the camera – will judge the competition and mentor the contestants. Andile and Terry will have the help of famous faces starring as guest judges, including fashion visionaries David Tlale and Gert-Johan Coetzee, local entertainment sensation ProVerb, and Bonang Matheba, as the first guest judge. Be sure to look out for a host of other famous faces from the E! family popping in show their support and encouragement.

The eight contestants – Danine Naidoo, Mosa Kaiser, Abigail Visagie, Sian Moss, Ayanda Nhlapo, Katleho Sinivasan, Juan-Martin Jordt and Jessica Tims – will tackle weekly challenges and survive eliminations, while the cameras catch their every move. The show sees the contestants get up close and personal as they live together for the duration of the show, making for close bonds and fierce competition. Viewers will be able to watch the contestants evolve and grow throughout the show with behind-the-scenes moments including a confessions room.

Actress Terry Pheto is the judge of the E! competition

The show was shot in a Johannesburg based mansion complete with a glam-room, where contestants had their own makeup artists and stylists to tend to their every style need. Selected outfits were provided by fashion designers David Tlale and Jacques Le Grange.

The Search: E! Host South Africa was produced by local production company Urban Brew. The first episode airs on E! Entertainment Television (DStv Channel 124) on 1st February 2017, at 8:55pm CAT.
