In news you NEED to know - the first round of Essence Festival Durban performers were announced today. So who do they have on deck? Ahhh you know Steve Harvey, Yolanda Adams, Thandiswa Mazwai, Black Coffee and my current favorite - Babes Wodumo!

The 3-day event will take place during the annual Durban Business fair on Nov 8-13, 2016.
The Empowerment Experience will be free and open to public and feature Rev Al Sharpton, South African actress Nondumiso Tembe, Estelle and Phaedra Parks. Other programming will include:
- Money + Power Showcase, providing unique opportunities for businesses to network and to meet potential buyers from both local and international markets.
- Beauty and Style Expo, featuring designers from across the African continent showcasing and selling their products.
- Lifestyle & Wellness Experience, featuring fitness workouts from celebrity fitness experts and healthy living tips.
- Essence Eats, showcasing celebrity chefs preparing their specialty dishes and cuisine from Durban Sister Cities.
I'm sure Durban will do a fantastic job hosting everyone. If this is the first round can you imagine what the 2nd round will look like? I can't wait!! Are you planning on going?
