It's official: Tiwa Savage is signed to Jay Z's entertainment company Roc Nation

We got so much love for Tiwa!

It looks like 2016 is Tiwa Savage's year. The Nigerian songstress just signed a major deal with Jay Z's Roc Nation! The management company confirmed the news via an Instagram photo welcoming her to the fold.

The "Red Singer" is in good company too - Roc Nation's roster is crazy good. I'm talking pop icon Rihanna, DJ Calvin Harris, rapper J Cole, DJ Khaled and many many more.

A few days ago, I spilled the tea on how Roc Nation is collaborating with the artists from the continent and what their future plans are. Here's a quick excerpt:

"It made more sense for us to partner up with the individual artists and their labels out there and work out distribution deals with them. To give them proper distribution in the States and make sure they are getting proper publishing dollars and royalties. So by using our platform that we already built, we are giving them access to everything we have at our office to help them do the same.
