PICS: A few of Africa's luxurious outposts

Madikwe Lodge
Last year I had the pleasure of visiting Madikwe Lodge in South Africa and I had the time of my life. I went with my fiance and two of my friends and were floored by the perfect balance of nature and luxury. They spoiled us rotten, none of us wanted to leave.

Located in the central eastern region of Madikwe Game Reserve in an area well known for its superior game viewing in addition to being home of the Big Five.

The picturesque lodge is against the Botswana border and is a three hour drive from Johannesburg.:

Since I am waxing poetic about the subject of safari lodges in Africa, I thought I would share some of the other luxury lodges I would love to visit in the continent.
