Meet the Real Housewives of Johannesburg

Here we go! Per the production company press release

The cast members of the Real Housewives of Johannesburg have been revealed after much speculation. The country has been gripped by the fever for the past few months since it was announced that Mzansi will be getting their own Housewives, starting with Johannesburg.

Most peopleare already hooked from watching their overseas counterparts and can't wait to experience the home brewed recipe. The cast which has been chosen after an extensive search comprises of five beautiful women from all walks of life.

The RealHousewives   of Johannesburg which has been in the pipe line for the past year will finally get to be aired next year but the channel and sponsors are still to be announced.

Sorisha Naidoo

• Crowned Miss India South Africa – 2001.
• Former graveyard DJ who gradually graduated to Prime time breakfast DJ
• Hosted the lunchtime lot on Highveld stereo
• Hosted Big Brand Bonanza on SABC 3 and Eastern Mosaic
• Former PR lady for big casinos and hotel chains
• Homemaker
• An enterpreneur who owns and runs a leading Aesthetic Clinic
• Imports and exports range of her own cosmetics.
• A mother and a wife.
• Recently launched her new product in Johannesburg – Crystal Tomato

Puleng Mash-Spies

Ok wait. Is homegirl wearing blue eye contacts?  Aren't those played out? Puleng describes herself as:  'a mother of two, loud, blue-eyed; fashion forward, politically inclined diva known for having red wine for breakfast.'

• Image consultant known for a great fashion sense and stunning legs.

Aimee Sadie

• Single 30 year old part time model, entrepreneur and fashion buyer.

• Runs Desch, a family owned boutique in Sandton City renowned for its elite clientele and exquisite fashions!

Christie Swanepoel

• Divorced but dating mother of two boys and two step sons.
• CEO for Energy at Work – a leader in temp recruitment
• Works and plays hard
• Currently dating a younger man that’s running an IT company

Will you be tuning in? I'm a sucker for reality TV so I will be watching. I just hope this production company got the clearance rights to film and air this show in Mzansi. Bravo don't play when it comes to their cash cows Real Housewives franchise!
