Mary J Blige says her husband is not allowed to have female friends

The Queen of hip hop soul is playing no games. Singer Mary J. Blige revealed details about her relationship with hubby Kendu Isaacs that set tongues wagging.

She apparently doesn’t allow her husband to have female friends. Say what now?

The pair have been married since 2003, and they have a pact where they agree not to have pals of the opposite sex as she doesn’t believe it can “work” in a marriage.

In an interview with Stella magazine, she revealed: “All females for me, all guys for him. There’s none of that, ‘Oh, that’s my female friend Oh, that’s my guy friend.’ No, not in a marriage, I’ve never seen that work.”

Ok now listen. I can't judge their relationship they do what works for them. But what happened to trust? Are we saying that platonic relationships with the opposite sex don't work? I'm confused!

Ok so forget my opinion or what Mary has to say, where does science stand on the matter?

"In a recent study done by the University of Wisconsin researchers found that while women were generally not attracted to their male friends and saw the relationship as strictly platonic, the men usually had romantic feelings for their lady friends. Not only were the guys more attracted to their female buds, they also mistakenly believed that the feelings were mutual, and they were more willing to act on their perceived mutual attraction. The study concluded that women generally think guys and gals can just be friends, while men secretly hope the relationship can become something more"

Hmmmm what do you think? Can men & women just be friends?
