The Academy Award winner is the newest member of the Star Wars Episode VII cast.
The Kenyan actress - who won the Best Supporting Actress her role in Steve McQueen's 12 Years A Slave - will join actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow in the rebooted sci-fi franchise directed by J.J. Abrams.
So proud of this young lady's trajectory! Get 'em girl!
