Bring Our Girls Back!

Over 200 female secondary school students were abducted from their boarding school by a group of people who are believed to be a part of the Boko Haram sect in Chibok, NorthEastern, Nigeria.

In recent years, countries which have experienced insurgencies, wars, conflicts and internal turbulence, record that the most devastating impacts of these crises are experienced by children, girls and young women who are left vulnerable to extensive attacks and dehumanizing conditions.

The abducted young girls are being affected by a conflict they did not create, and their voices need to be heard. It can only be imagined what they have undergone in these past weeks or what they are bring subjected to at hand.

Please join us on Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 in Union Square for a prayer and to bring awareness so that this situation can be given the right level of coverage in international media. These 234 girls need to be found and returned to the safety of their families and homes.

KINDLY SPREAD THE WORD!!

Signs and Posters are WELCOME!!
