BET Networks confirmed today that Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King will return as the hosts of this year’s BLACK GIRLS ROCK!”. I love the two of them onstage together. The special is dedicated to honoring exceptional women of color, and this year it will tape at one of the largest performing arts centers in the country, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, located in downtown Newark, New Jersey.
“BLACK GIRLS ROCK!” tapes on Saturday, October 26 and will make its network premiere on Sunday, November 3 at 7pm.
Now, in its fourth year the show has celebranted folks such as: Janelle Monae; Kerry Washington; Dionne Warwick;Susan Taylor; Alicia Keys; and human rights activists and doctors Dr. Hawa Abdi and her daughters.
BLACK GIRLS ROCK! 2013 will also air in the UK and several countries in continental Africa, on Tuesday, November 5th at 8PM GMT, on BET’s international network in the UK and Africa, reaching more than 17 million households in 50+ countries.
P.S Tracee's been in the gym with celeb trainer Jeanette Jenkins prepping for "Black Girls Rock" and I'm not sure what she's trying to achieve cause Diana Ross's daughter already looks great! Can't wait to see the show!
