1st Indian Miss America is crowned! See her stunning pics..

New York is on one hell of a winning streak! We've had two back to back winners during the past 2 years of the Miss America competition.

Meet your newest Miss America 2014 Nina Davuluri. The 24 year old is the first ever Indian American to win New York subsequently Miss America. WOWZERS!!

Nina was in tears as she walked the runway in Atlantic City, NJ in a canary-yellow evening gown.

Congrats to Nina!!!!! She said in an earlier interview with the Post Standard/syracuse.com that she'd like to win the Miss America title like every other contestant "Everything happens for a reason,'' she said. " If it's meant to be it's meant to be. It's a win-win just to be in it."

She was my FAVE from the beginning!

And she SLAYED her talent portion! Go girl!!  

But of course there's drama!

Nina apparently  invited friends back to her hotel room after her Miss NY win back in July & a girl in the next room overheard her conversation, and was so offended she decided to tape part of it.

According to the NY Post “A friend of Nina was supposedly heard making racist remarks, and Davuluri is allegedly heard on the tape blasting Miss America, ‘Mallory’s fat as s- -t.’ The recording has been making the rounds of pageant contestants and officials.”

Damn Gina! Let's hear the tape & judge for ourselves. Personally I think Nina's predecessor Mallory is cute & curvy. Definitely not fat. 

Thoughts? Should Nina still have won if the drama is true?
