Earlier today I posted the image above of Oprah posing it up on her magazine cover. I was wondering if ALL that was O's hair in the shot but now I've got my answer..
The cover shot was really a wig and this is what Oprah's REAL hair looks like! Still a pretty impressive fro but nothing compared to the cover! In the inside pages of the mag, the 59 year old shares her own untouched, natural hair. “No wig, weave, perm, braids, twists, extensions, curling iron, straightening comb, or blow-dryer. Au naturel!” she wrote on the “What I Know For Sure” page.
For the September issue of O, the Oprah Magazine, the star kicked off the magazine’s all-about-hair spectacular by posing in a 3.5-lb. wig (“the size of a small chihuahua,” according to the mag) she dubbed “Wild Thang.” It came in its own pink carrying case wrapped in bubble wrap, and, as O creative director Adam Glassman said, made Oprah look like “Chaka Khan and Diana Ross combined” in the cover shot.
Nice!! Oprah is a baddie right? Thoughts on her hair?
