The BET Hip Hop Awards announcement took place last week on the set of 106 & Park and I was on the scene to watch it all go down. Thanks to the BET/Viacom team I had exclusive access to the stage and backstage area and I was able to see how the entire show is taped and let me tell you....that whole thing is a well oiled machine. They have it down to a science, I was SUPER impressed...
While backstage I got a chance to catch up with the host of this year's awards show- the man himself big Snoop Dogg! Check out our quick chat about his trip to South Africa and his feeling about hosting the awards show!
P.S my camera man canceled on me an HOUR before I was scheduled to go to 106. I had to keep it moving and I brought my trusty handycam to film my interview. These things happen - part of making it is being able to think on your feet when crisis hits, one monkey don't stop the show :)
