Oh but it is. Actress Sandra Oh is leaving the hit ABC TV show after this season. In a statement to EW.com the 42 year old states."It's been a great privilege to play the character of Cristina Yang on GA, and I am both sad and excited to see where this, her final season will take her. It was an emotional and deeply creative decision for me and I feel fully supported by Shonda [Rhimes, the show's creator and executive producer,] and the writers," her statement continued.
"Creatively, I really feel like I gave it my all, and I feel ready to let her go," she told the Hollywood Reporter.
Aww man! I know Grey's fan must be sad to see Dr. Yang go. I wonder how they will write out her character, she's been such a key part of the show.
