Zimbabwe cited as one of the most CORRUPT countries in Africa!

A new report produced by KPMG (one of the largest professional services in the world) has some very bad news for Zimbabweans. Our beloved country has been cited as one of the top four African nations with the highest cases of fraud.

So who rounds out the top four? South Africa has the distinct honor of being no.1, with the highest number of fraud cases. Followed by Nigeria, Zimbabwe and Kenya in fourth position. The four countries are said to account for 74 percent of all fraud cases reported on the continent, translating to $2 billion in the first half of the year.

Damn! Can you imagine if that money was channeled correctly?! I mean that's 2 billion dollars, yikes!

The KPMG Africa Fraud Barometer revealed that the sectors with the highest risk of fraud are government with 55 percent, financial services with 18 percent and consumer markets at 7 percent. Read the whole story here.

Talk to me, is Zimbabwe really that corrupt? Or this issue being blown out of proportion?
