Model behavior: Selita Ebanks named grand chief patron for Miss Sierra Leone USA pageant

Former Victoria Secret Model Selita Ebanks, has been named grand chief patron for the Miss Sierra Leone USA Pageant. Before we go another further, can someone tell me what a grand chief patron is?  I've been in pageants for a long time and I have never heard of this title. Any who I digress, it's great to see the Grand Cayman beauty using her celebrity status to bring awareness to Sierra Leone.

Rumored to be dating 106 and Park host Terrance J, the supermodel apparently traveled to Sierra Leone in 2008 working with an organization called Shine. In addition to actually visiting the country, she is currently the Goodwill Ambassador  for maternal health program of Wellbody Alliance, which is supported by the First Lady of Sierra Leone, Madam Sia Nyama Koroma. 

Nice!! The pageant will be held July 1st in Silver Springs Maryland!
