A few weeks ago
I wrote about South African super athlete Oscar Pistorius in my Africa's hottest men - 2012 edition. Unbeknownst to me, Oscar was just a few weeks away from being named one of the most influential people in the world according to Time Magazine. How cool is that? Time Magazine selects 100 people every year who according to the magazine "
inspire us, entertain us, challenge us and change our world"

The double amputee from South Africa is in good company on the list joining other notable people like United States President Barack Obama, financial guru Warren Buffett, pop stars Rihanna and Adele and tons of other glowing luminaries. I am covering the red carpet for this event on Tuesday and I am beyond thrilled. Cant wait!!!
