Song of the day - Anoop Desai

I have to admit that I haven't watched American Idol in years. I mean the last time I saw the show was when Taylor Hicks won. Fastforward to 2011 today and Im listening to my pop radio station on Pandora. I stumble upon Anoop Desai's calling my name song and I instantly fall in love with the track. Anoop is most known for being a contestant on the 8th season of American Idol.

I am a pop music head so this track speaks to me. I also love when music  merges culturally, the Indian influence is very heavy on this track and I absolutely love it.

Check out the song below, it's from 2010 but it is my song of the day.
