Solange shares pics from her honeymoon in Brazil

Solange Knowles and her smoking hot new hubby Alan Ferguson just shared intimate pics from their honeymoon in Brazil via social media.

And they are stunning!

"Thank you Trancoso for being the most magical lil place to 'honey our moon' .... Brazil could not have been kinder to us and our love," she wrote in an Instagram post of a town in the state of Bahia in the South American country.

According to People Magazine the area is known for its beaches, and the newlyweds seem to be enjoying time together by the sea in the sunny weather – as well as the colorful sights of the region, which make for fantastic Instagram posts.
Can't wait too see more!

Jared Leto shares safari pics from his trip to South Africa!

42 year old Jared Leto is most well known for his stellar acting chops (he won an Academy Award this year for the Dallas Buyers Club) but did you know that he's also in an awesome rock band?

Damn that sentence was long :)

Jared's group 30 Seconds to Mars is currently in South Africa touring and judging by the pictures the actor/singer posted to his IG, they are living it up.

Peep the pics below

Is there anything more gorgeous than an African sunset?

So nice I had to post it twice!

Jared also created awareness via social by urging people to save the Rhino being killed for their horns.

You know what I'd really like to see? His luxury digs while he's in South Africa. Yes the safari is awesome but wouldn't be it brilliant to show his fans/public/media a rare side of Africa? I'm just saying...

Idris Elba in South Africa - "I'm very proud of my African roots"

Today is a good day to be Idris Elba. But let's be honest, when you look that good, when is it not a good day to Idris Elba?

Not only was he most recently kicking it in South Africa recently but it just was announced today by People Magazine that he is the runner up for the title of the Sexiest Man Alive. Runner up though?!? He was robbed!

Idris was in South Africa recently for five days as part of the Oude Meester Tour. The 'Long Walk to Freedom' star was in Cape Town and Durban, before finishing up in Johannesburg. During his Q& A he spoke about his love for the continent and how proud he is to be African. Born to a Sierra Leonean father and a Ghanaian mother his roots run deep!

In other Idris new the 42 year old is adding another notch to his music career by releasing a Mandela tribue album and you can listen to the tracks here for free. According to Billboard:

The 11-track mi Mandela will come out on Elba's own 7wallace imprint in conjunction with Parlophone Records on Nov. 24, celebrating South African music with the help of South Africa and British collaborators including Mumford & Sonsand James Blake. The album's concept originates to the filming of Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom in Johannesburg, South Africa, where Elba was inspired to continue making music.

Hmmm no K.Michelle on the track? LOL, I know I am just being messy. I still cant get over the fact that they allegedly dated. Wozwers!

Check out the video recap below of Idris's time in Mzansi.

Tamera Mowry Housley reveals that she was nervous about showing her natural hair on daytime TV

A few weeks ago "The Real" co-host Tamera Mowry Housley teased fans by saying that she was going to wear her natural hair on national TV. Well today she put her money where her mouth was by showing us all her au natural coif

So pretty!

The 36 year old spilled the tea on her look:

"Growing up on TV, you guys saw my natural hair. I had naturally curly hair. But throughout the years we straightened it, I blow dried it, I put a hot comb to it. I went through a really rough stage of my hair to where I had to do the big chop. Which is basically chopping all of your damaged hair off and starting anew. So I was a little nervous cause not many people are not used to seeing me like this. So this is me, this who I truly am."

Tamera's co-host on the Real chimed in on the matter stating she will never wear her natural hair on TV. Tamar emphasized "please don't tweet or Instagram saying you wan't to see Tamar's natural hair." She then looked into the camera and said "Wigs on fleek" meaning her wigs are on point, we will never see her own hair coming out of her scalp. Womp womp!

It's so funny cause last year Tamar and the Braxton sisters were asked about wearing their natural hair on TV and peep their answer below:

In response to whether or not we’ll ever see their natural hair, they all responded with a resounding“No!” Ok!

Tamera continued on her how husband feels about her natural hair

"My husband loves my hair like this on me, he would rather me wear my hair curly all day every day than to straighten it. I think that makes me feel great, my husband loves all of me"

Tamera posted the image to her Instagram yesterday and some of the comments made me really sad. Someone said her hairstyle was "better suited for an off day, not when she was at work". Awful! I will say though most of the comments on social media were super positive, people (for the most part) are open to seeing all types of beauty on TV.

I love her new hair, hope she keep it.

Toni Braxton hits the red carpet with her cute sons!

Come through Toni Braxton!!
Who looks this good at 47?!? Toni Braxton that is. Lol! Actually forget looking good for 47. She looks AMAZING period point blank.

The Grammy award winner hit the red carpet at the 24th Annual NAACP Theatre Awards at Saban Theatre yesterday in Beverly Hills.

Rocking a blue thigh high gown and her signature short crop - the "Unbreak my Heart" singer brought along her kids Diezel & Denim who look super tall standing to their petite Mama.

Totes adorbs!
Babyface was on hand to give Toni the award, I love their relationship after all these years. Still friends. The prestigious NAACP theatre award is a star-studded gala is produced for the purpose of honoring thespians among the best in the field of entertainment.

Toni is no newbie on the acting curcuit we all know that she's has been on Broadway and starring in numerous films both on & off the small screen - but in 2013 she made a surprising admission about the next role she'd like to play.

"I would like to play a lesbian," she told BET.com. "I don't know why. And do a whole make-out scene and the whole thing; just something completely different than people would expect from me. Not a lipstick lesbian, either."

Lol interesting. She's a great actress so I know she can pull it off! Congrats Toni B!

Mary J Blige says her husband is not allowed to have female friends

The Queen of hip hop soul is playing no games. Singer Mary J. Blige revealed details about her relationship with hubby Kendu Isaacs that set tongues wagging.

She apparently doesn’t allow her husband to have female friends. Say what now?

The pair have been married since 2003, and they have a pact where they agree not to have pals of the opposite sex as she doesn’t believe it can “work” in a marriage.

In an interview with Stella magazine, she revealed: “All females for me, all guys for him. There’s none of that, ‘Oh, that’s my female friend Oh, that’s my guy friend.’ No, not in a marriage, I’ve never seen that work.”

Ok now listen. I can't judge their relationship they do what works for them. But what happened to trust? Are we saying that platonic relationships with the opposite sex don't work? I'm confused!

Ok so forget my opinion or what Mary has to say, where does science stand on the matter?

"In a recent study done by the University of Wisconsin researchers found that while women were generally not attracted to their male friends and saw the relationship as strictly platonic, the men usually had romantic feelings for their lady friends. Not only were the guys more attracted to their female buds, they also mistakenly believed that the feelings were mutual, and they were more willing to act on their perceived mutual attraction. The study concluded that women generally think guys and gals can just be friends, while men secretly hope the relationship can become something more"

Hmmmm what do you think? Can men & women just be friends?

Possible En Vogue reunion? "No Way" says former group member

Growing up, I was a HUGE En Vogue fan. I remember watching their music videos and dancing along to their music. They were everything to me. So you can just imagine how dissapointed I was to find out that the group split (and made up) and split forever leaving some group members broke and destitute. Maxine Jones one of the founding members of the group is spilling the tea and it is GOOD! In an interview with Juicy Magazine, the now 52 year old singer dishes on losing the rights to "En Vogue" and being betrayed by her fellow group members

Max Jones
Peep the highlights from the interview below:

ON LOSING THE RIGHT TO USE THE EN VOGUE NAME TO HER FORMER GROUP MATES, CINDY HERRON AND TERRY ELLIS:
“It’s been difficult, and it’s been difficult mainly because I feel like all the years I spent there and what I helped to build – you know, 30 million records sold – and what my input…and to just have nothing to show for it. For a long time…it’s been two-and-a-half, going on three-years now since this whole thing happened, but I was mostly angry for most of that time. It’s not until this year really that I totally embraced the idea of putting it behind me and starting out on my own and starting from scratch. Before that, my mind was in the mode that I’m still in a group, I’m not giving up, I’m going to get some more girls, and I’m going to go out there, and I’m going to be in this En Vogue too. I am a third, I own a third, I own a right to use the name too. That’s how it was originally – that trademark has my name on it too in the Library of Congress. My name is on that trademark, and so that was the thing. It was a big deal to me to first of all, to be forced out, and then my intellectual property to be taken away from me. It just really, honestly, pissed me off.”
The original members of En Vogue in happier times

ON APPEALING THE DECISION THAT STRIPPED HER OF THE RIGHT TO USE THE EN VOGUE NAME:
“The battle is not over because they’ve won with an arbitrator, and to me, the whole hearing was not fair, unfair to me totally, and so I’m appealing it. Now my case is going before the appellate. The appellate has viewed it and decided it’s worthy of them ruling on. So that’s where it is right now, and I’m hopeful. I’m very hopeful. I’m not giving up. It’s going to take the appellate to tell me, ‘no Max, that’s been pulled away from you. Forget about it, put it behind you.’ It’s going to take the appellate judges to do that. I just feel like I have to fight. I just feel like that’s something that’s not so easy for me to do – it’s my legacy. I’ve put in the time, I’ve put in the work, I’ve earned the right, and I’m not giving it up easy.”

ON IF SHE FEELS BETRAYED BY CINDY AND TERRY:
“Yeah, I totally do, I totally do. I feel like it was a power grab for them. Yeah, I totally feel betrayed by them, and I feel like what they did to me, I wouldn’t have expected it from them, and I wouldn’t have dreamt of doing that to them, so I’m hurt. At first I was very, very hurt, and then it went to anger, and it’s still a little bit of all of that there, not so much so now because I’m going to move on. Before I felt like it was paralyzing – I felt devastated, but not anymore. I’m able to move forward, and I’m grateful for that. And it’s a blessing, you know. Even though I feel like this, at the same time, I know when I look at the big picture, it’s divine order, you know. It’s time for me to leave…the problems that existed, that exists with the four of us and with that group was never going to go away, things weren’t ever going to change, things were never going to be different, so it was time to move on. I was there hoping, trying to see if I could get some more out of it because of putting so much into it.”

Terry & Cindy with the new group member Renee

ON DISAGREEMENTS ABOUT MANAGEMENT AND THE GROUP BEING DOOMED FROM THE START:
“It’s a bigger issue [than management], it was a bigger issue than that, but that was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me was the issue you probably read in the court documents. But the problems that existed in the group, that exist in the group, is really one of the girls had been screwing around with one of the producers. We were put together by two producers [Denzil Foster and Thomas McElroy], and Terry started sleeping with one of the guys almost from the beginning, and that just kind of devastated us. We were never a unit. When we were renegotiating our contracts and trying to make it better for ourselves, I remember just going to him and telling him – he had been calling me like crazy – and I told him that I made my decision, I was going to stick with the group. We were a unit, and I’ll never forget what he told me because it’s just so true, and it’s still true to this day. He said to me – he was pissed that I had made my choice, and he was angry – and he said, ‘You are no f*cking group! Can’t you see that?’ Is what he said to me. He said, ‘Dawn is crazy, she’s all over the place, Max. She’s here, she’s there, she’s everywhere. Cindy don’t have a damn clue Max,’ he said to me. ‘And guess what Max? She don’t care. And I got your partner Terry in my back pocket. How you going to call yourself a group when I got your partners, she’s supposed to be your partner Max, and she’s in my back pocket. I’m trying to tell you Max, you’re just going to be left ass out.’ And that’s the dynamic of this group, that’s always been the dynamic. I’m always the one that’s the easily replaceable one. If I don’t like it, I can get out. And so yes, for me it came to a head. With this particular manager…now that problem, that issue existed from day one. But the manager that we had when I left there was the worst manager this group has ever seen because all this stuff happened on his watch. We’re doomed…there’s no getting back together with those girls or us reuniting after what just happened to me.”

ON HER FINANCIAL STATUS WHEN SHE LEFT EN VOGUE:
“When I officially left the group, it wasn’t bad at that point, but it certainly got bad because of course I had no income. It got bad once I lost the arbitrator’s ruling because it totally stopped me from working. Before that, it wasn’t bad because just like Terry and Cindy were going out and calling themselves the whole group, I was doing the same thing, and nobody had a problem. It’s the name, you know, that name and what we built. The reputation behind it, and nobody cared really. As long as they could use that name, it was going to draw the fans out, you know. And so, both of us were doing that. Once the arbitrator’s ruling came, it just totally stopped me from being able to go out using the name En Vogue, and they said I couldn’t have the name En Vogue, I had to say ‘formerly of’. Terry, Cindy, and their attorneys, anytime a promoter tried to book me and even say Maxine Jones, formerly of En Vogue, they were intimidating them, and telling them they were going to be sued just by having the name En Vogue in the caption. It basically scared away anyone who wanted to hire me.”

ON THE POSSIBILITY OF HER REUNITING WITH THE LADIES:
“There’s no way. I can’t work alongside those chicks and they tried to see to it that I ended up with zero, with nothing, and totally devastated. No. I will not stand alongside those girls and get on stage with them, no.”

Now what did she say about a tell all? I have all the time in the world for a juicy tell all book!

Love this wedding party potrait by Rog Walker. “Everyone I worked with on the wedding are friends who I love,” said Solange to Vogue Magazine via email earlier today. “Everything was a labor of love.”

I love how unconventional this couple is
