Renee Zellweger opens up about her new face: "I'm glad folks think I look different!
"My friends say that I look peaceful. I am healthy. For a long time I wasn't doing such a good job with that. I took on a schedule that is not realistically sustainable and didn't allow for taking care of myself. Rather than stopping to recalibrate, I kept running until I was depleted and made bad choices about how to conceal the exhaustion. I was aware of the chaos and finally chose different things."

Be Calm and STOP the Ebola fear mongering!
If we can just call a thing a thing, I am rather perturbed that folks are worried about the wrong thing. According to the New York Times the risk of an individual being afflicted with the disease in the United States is very VERY small. So far there's only been just one death documented in America. Contrast that one to more than 4,400 people have died in the latest outbreak in West Africa. Where is the international outrage about those deaths? Former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan hit the nail right on the head today when he stated the obvious, that the international response has been rather dismal because the epidemic is in Africa. I mean have you seen the Ebola memes floating around the internet?
Its only funny because it's happening to 'them" furthering adding to the stereotype that the continent is rife with disease and poverty. And while things are rather frightful in Liberia and other parts hit the hardest with the disease....to categorize an entire continent is just plain ole dumb.
The Times Article also states:
The flu kills more than 30,000 people in the United States. Yet this causes little anxiety: Millions of people who could benefit from a flu shot do not get one.“We’re familiar with the flu, we’ve had it and gotten better — we feel we know that threat,”

FLOTUS Michelle Obama on daughters joining the military "honored to be a proud Blue Star mom.”
First Lady Michelle Obama is on the cover of the November issue of REDOOK Magazine. Not too crazy about the photoshopping. But I am loving this windswept hair & vibrant dress. She's so FAB! Check out highlights of the interview below!
Michelle Obama the importance of education: "I have been promoting education period, because that is the way the world is going. On the other hand, veterans shouldn’t have to wait for a job. So one of our biggest challenges is, how do you take so many years of on-the-ground experience and compare that with a degree that may have nothing to do with the work?”
On continuing this work after she leaves the White House: "I want to continue to lift up these stories so that the country doesn’t forget. And my hope is that whoever lives in this White House in the coming years will find a way to continue these efforts [and make them] a permanent part of the government role. We believe that efforts of Joining Forces should last far beyond this administration; that, you know the spotlight we put on these families, these issues and our services members should be something that we do forever and across party lines.”
On how she would feel if one of her daughters said they wanted to join the military: “I would support them in whatever they chose to do and I would be honored to be a proud Blue Star mom.”
On this being an issue for all Americans:"Most Americans— whether you're in business or you live in a neighborhood or you belong to a congregation— you don't know how you can help these men and women and their families. It really helps to provide a definition of the how for the millions of Americans who want to step up and do their part."

Kelly Rowland bares baby bump in Elle US spread!!
I can't wait until he gets here. I just have a couple more weeks. I'm excited to bring a child into the world, and sharing that experience with my husband is probably the most beautiful part.
Everybody always tells you to go crazy with food, and you can eat whatever you want. It's fine to have your cravings but I wanted an easier delivery. All the women that I've talked to, that have worked out, have such an easy and speedy delivery. Exercise really helps that. And I like being able to have peaceful sleep at night, though there's no such thing as that now in the last trimester [laughs]. To be honest, I did modify my exercise routine a bit by just listening to my body. I would tell my trainer [Jeanette Jenkins] "This move doesn't feel right," and we'd modify it. I still walk two miles everyday. I still work out. It's important to me.
I love cherry pie and chocolate ice cream with peanut butter mixed in it. And I had a week straight where I was obsessed with nachos.
Your skin is glowing! What's your pregnancy beauty regimen?
I've switched out anything with harsh chemicals. I use nothing but shea butter, pure cocoa butter and coconut oil. It's amazing how all of those things work so well for my skin. I'm going to continue to just use those after the baby gets here.

Real Housewives of NJ star Teresa Guidice sentenced to a year in prison!
"For a moment I thought about probation … but I think a period of confinement is absolutely necessary in this case," said the judge. "I don't honestly believe that you understand or respect the law. I need to send a message. In the eyes of the law it doesn't matter who you are. There are consequences to pay."
Teresa, 42, and her husband, Joe Giudice, appeared in court one final time as the judge handed out sentences to the parents of four. Joe was sentenced to 41 months – almost three and a half years – in prison, to be served after his wife serves her sentence.
In a tearful statement before the court earlier Thursday afternoon, Teresa said, "My daughters are my life. I'm more sorry than anyone will ever know. I will make this right no matter what."
She also added, "I'm really scared … I need to learn to do things for myself. It's time for me to wake up."
